Week 6.2: Using Common Internet Tools
Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others. ― Booker T. Washington
As promised in my previous post, today I would be sharing with you an internet tool which I found very useful...*drumrolls*...
Google Hangouts!
This tool is useful for work and education or simply just connecting with your friends. It is similar to
Skype in the sense it brings people together across space and time differences through the internet. However, it has much more tricks and functions to it. You might find it complicated if you are new to it, but just giving a try and you might soon find yourself a master at it. You would realise that you can use it with other
Google tools as well and can benefit even more. Eager to start learning the basics of how to use Google Hangouts? Well, I will not be the one teaching you today, sadly, since I am learning alongside you. Do not worry though, I have the best people to teach! Introducing to you,
Googlers,
John (left) and
Debbie (right)!
Always dreamed of being a radio DJ? Well, you can kick start that dream of yours by
broadcasting Hangouts on air!
Bring and use Hangouts anywhere and anytime you need to with
Hangouts on mobile!
Are you feeling like an expert already? Here is the last tutorial for you which could empower you even more with these little
tricks and tips!
Have fun with Google Hangouts! As we know, there are many other Google tools available. Hence, if you would like to learn how to use them as well, you can click on the link below and find out more from John and Debbie.
Happy learning and teach others so they too can benefit from this great internet tool. (:

Guten Tag!
Happiness is not the absence of problems, it's the ability to deal with them. ― Steve Maraboli
HELLO!
Welcome to my COM 125 blog.
COM 125 is a module where I learn things about the internet that I had not known about and this is the little space where I share things about the internet that I learn beyond the classroom through the internet.
The quote above is a good overall learning take from the internet. The internet was invented to solve problems that existed back then and has ever since been continuously innovated to tackle more problems. As a result, it has undoubtedly brought about great ease and happiness to us.
I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and be enlightened just as I had been (:
