Week 6.1: A Video by Me
You'll never know until you try. ― Carl G. Schrade
There are tons of internet tools out there for us. Some could ease our lives tremendously, if only we look for it and give it a try. Just like many other stuff in life, giving things a try could just be all it takes. When I was 13, I began admiring my elder sister's ability to dance Hiphop. I wanted to be able to dance like her too, but fear of failing was holding me back. I was glad that I geared up my courage and took my first
Hiphop class when I was 14. From then on, I was even more inspired ever since to keep trying.
Today, I am part of the junior team of the school's dance club,
Dreamwerkz. Since this school semester started, I had weekly trainings for a performance for the school's
Open House that took place on 27 September 2014 to recruit the next batch of students. I am really glad that the trainings are over. I am also happy that the performance was satisfactory, even though we have the potential make it much better if we had more time to work on it. Nonetheless, it is an achievement for me both on a personal level and as a member of the club. Hence, the video that I am going to share is none other than the performance video taken by my fellow club member, Ashlyn. I did some video editing on it before uploading on to
YouTube.
The video editing program I used is
iMovie that is available on all Apple laptops and computers. It is easy to use and the quality of the movie produced is pretty good for amateurs in video editing works. I found the information in the following link useful, perhaps you all will too.
As far as dance is concerned, I will keep doing it because I enjoy it. However, since I am not particularly talented in it, I will keep trying because at least trying lets me learn something each time. The same goes for anything else in life, so I suggest we never stop trying (:
Enjoy the video and look forward to my next post where I will be sharing with you another internet tool which I found very useful.
Remember, just try. (:

My Virtual Thought Bubble
Guten Tag!
Happiness is not the absence of problems, it's the ability to deal with them. ― Steve Maraboli
HELLO!
Welcome to my COM 125 blog.
COM 125 is a module where I learn things about the internet that I had not known about and this is the little space where I share things about the internet that I learn beyond the classroom through the internet.
The quote above is a good overall learning take from the internet. The internet was invented to solve problems that existed back then and has ever since been continuously innovated to tackle more problems. As a result, it has undoubtedly brought about great ease and happiness to us.
I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and be enlightened just as I had been (:
